Personal & Family
Family disputes including divorces, family-related disagreements and disagreements in the administration of an estate of the deceased. These disputes are often messy and emotional affairs. As professionals, we assist our client by focusing solely on the facts of their matter and keeping our client’s best interest in mind.
Probate and Letters of Administration
After the passing of a loved one, depending on whether the deceased has a will, we will then assist our client in applying a grant of Probate (with will) or Letters of Administration (without will). Obtaining the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration would allow our client to administer the estate of the deceased accordingly.
Mental Capacity Act applications
A Mental Capacity Act Application is required when someone without a lasting power of attorney loses mental capacity (“P”) and becomes mentally incapable of making decisions for himself or herself. When this happens, we assist our client in obtaining an appointment of deputy court order under the Mental Capacity Act, giving them the authority to make decisions in relation to the personal welfare and/or property of P on their behalf. As every client has different needs in relation to the powers they are seeking from the court, we ensure that our service is tailored to the individual needs of each client.
