Divorce
Dealing with a family breakdown is tough. Besides the emotional impact it brings, grappling with legal issues such as divorce, property divisions, your children’s living arrangements and settling financial provision can take a huge toll on your life.
While some people manage their way through the legalities without a lawyer, it really depends on how difficult your situation is and what’s at stake. But one thing is clear – having a lawyer can go a long way in lifting off the burdens and uncertainties in the following situations:
- You are unclear as to what you are entitled to under the law.
- The other side is represented by a lawyer.
- There are children involved.
- There is jointly-held property and no agreement on how it should be divided.
In my 30 years of legal practice, I’ve had the privilege of handling a diverse range of legal matters. My wide experience enables me to bring a broad-based approach to problem-solving.
In recent years, I’ve decided to dedicate my legal practice to the specific area of Family Law. I believe that by specializing in a selected area, I’d be able to focus my energies and expertise, and thereby give my clients the benefit of specialist advice. Of all the areas of practice which I have been involved in, Family Law has given me the most personal satisfaction. Simply put, this is my preferred area of practice.
I also do Wills & Probate and applications under the Mental Capacity Act.

Jeannette was recommended to me by a friend who has previously engaged her service. It was an extremely pleasant experience liaising with Jeannette who is knowledgeable and she demonstrated much patience and care towards her client. She was meticulous in her fact finding to understand my situation and to help establish my rights. She was always prompt with her replies and forward with her recommendations. She will patiently explain her findings and share her views so that I have the full information as well as clarity to establish the next course of action. The outcome was a positive one and I truly appreciate all the advice given by Jeannette. Thank you!
Ms Jeannette was very very friendly. Greeted me with a warm welcome when i was waiting for her at her office lobby. Assisted well on my documentation and did checked thoroughly so i don’t miss out any important details. The best part was the awesome view from her office, which she let me to take photos of them. Had a great service from such a professional. Will make her my 1st choice to get my law-related issue solved. Thank you Ms. Jeanette once again.
Jeanette was really helpful in providing not just the necessary legal advice, but also a broader perspective on the employment issue that I was facing during our consultation. I’m particularly grateful that she thoroughly explained the potential legal and non-legal consequences/outcomes of my situation so that I could make an informed decision on the way forward.
Not only that, I felt that Jeanette was really genuine in her approach in trying to “workshop” the possible solutions with me, and that her main focus was on trying to help me to achieve the best possible outcome given my circumstances. I would definitely contact Jeanette again if I were to face any other legal issues.
I approached Jeannette to assist me in my defence against a divorce maintenance enforcement. She was sincere and was very committed in helping me. Due to the urgency, she had even contacted me over the phone to discuss the case after office hours and whatsapp me over weekends to prepare my evidence. I am very impressed by her legal knowledge and her meticulous research work. Jeannette was able to point out very subtle discrepancies in the court maintenance order and crafted strong legal arguments with reference to past court judgements in support of my case. I highly recommend Jeannette.
