About
Working with clients to help them find real solutions to legal issues that are causing them stress and worry isn’t just a job, it’s something I’m passionate about. It’s a calling.
I was called to the Singapore Bar in 1989, and have since chalked up three decades of active legal practice. I’ve acquired the experience and knowledge across a diverse range of legal matters, enabling me to bring a broad-based approach to problem-solving.
Where a fight is called for, I’ll bring a hands-on and passionate approach to advocating and championing my clients’ interests.
In dealing with non-contentious matters, I take pride in providing my clients with prompt and objective advice. I’m well-known for anticipating any potential complications and issues and for my meticulous drafting of corporate documents, and I understand the business environment well.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Corporate & Commercial Law from the London School of Economics. I’m also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.

Divorce
Dealing with a family breakdown is tough. Besides the emotional impact it brings, grappling with legal issues such as divorce, property divisions, your children’s living arrangements and settling financial provision can take a huge toll on your life.
While some people manage their way through the legalities without a lawyer, it really depends on how difficult your situation is and what’s at stake. But one thing is clear – having a lawyer can go a long way in lifting off the burdens and uncertainties in the following situations:
- You are unclear as to what you are entitled to under the law.
- The other side is represented by a lawyer.
- There are children involved.
- There is jointly-held property and no agreement on how it should be divided.
In my 30 years of legal practice, I’ve had the privilege of handling a diverse range of legal matters. My wide experience enables me to bring a broad-based approach to problem-solving.
In recent years, I’ve decided to dedicate my legal practice to the specific area of Family Law. I believe that by specializing in a selected area, I’d be able to focus my energies and expertise, and thereby give my clients the benefit of specialist advice. Of all the areas of practice which I have been involved in, Family Law has given me the most personal satisfaction. Simply put, this is my preferred area of practice.
I also do Wills & Probate and applications under the Mental Capacity Act.

Ms Jeannette was very efficient in addressing my enquiries.. The documents were created very fast and professionally. She was friendly and knowledgeable in my queries on other matters like Will creation.
Overall a pleasant and professional person to work with.
Ms Jeanette was excellent from the beginning to end. She handled my case very professionally. Very knowledgeable, reliable and decisive. She provided me with excellent legal advice and explained everything well. Emails and phone calls are return promptly anytime of the day.
Personally, I would highly recommend her to anyone without any reservations.
Thank you Ms Jeanette
I approached Jeannette to assist in getting my passport documents notarised for an employment in the Caribbean. She was really friendly and also professional. She also gave good advice, making sure that the (format of the) documents matched that which was required by the country. I will definitely go back to her again and would recommend her to others as well.
Jeannette has advised me on two occasions — the first was a complicated cross-border last will that spanned several countries, while the second involved an employment contract with non-compete clauses.
On both occasions, I found her a pleasure to work with. Jeannette is very thorough, clear in her explanations and appreciative of my concerns. She is also patient in fielding questions, even the seemingly minor ones. She goes to great lengths to explain and flag issues which I hadn’t considered.
Jeannette was recommended to me by a former colleague and I can see why he thought well of her. She has my utmost confidence. I would have no problem recommending Jeannette to a friend.
