Ms Judy Ang graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the London School of Economic and Political Science in 2009 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore in 2011. Her areas of practice include General Litigation, Divorce, advising on Pre-/Post- Nuptial Agreements, Wills and Probate, Child Custody, Adoptions, applications under the Mental Capacity Act and International Child Abduction Act.

Always keen on expanding her knowledge and skills to remain relevant, Judy was recently admitted as a New York Attorney-at-Law in 2016 and is also an Associate Mediator of the Singapore Mediation Centre.

She has extensive litigation experience and has been involved in applications to the Court of Appeal on novel legal issues, contentious divorce cases with assets valued at more than $100 million and cross-border matters. As a Mediator, she has successfully mediated disputes for both commercial and non-commercial matters. Her experience as a litigator helps ensure that any agreement reached at mediation is practical and enforceable.

Key issue – What agreements can be considered in the division of matrimonial assets.

2) Tan Yan Ling Kyna v Chan Wei Zhong Terence [2014] SGHC 195

Key issue – Whether leave should be granted for parties to commence divorce when the marriage is less than 3 years.

3) Chan Tin Sun v Fong Quay Sim [2015] SGCA 2

Key issue – Whether a spouse’s adverse conduct could result in attributing a negative value to the spouse’s contribution to the marriage.

4) BOI V BOJ [2018] SGCA 16; [2019] SGCA 30

Key issue –  What is a just and equitable division of the matrimonial assets; in particular, whether a lottery win is a matrimonial asset and if so, how should it be attributed to parties.

Services & Fees


We provide fixed-fee arrangements for uncontested matters. For contested matters, transparent costs estimation will be provided at the beginning and at every stage of the proceedings. For private mediation, it is based on the length of the mediation and an hourly rate of $500.00.
