About
I am Managing Partner of Seiter IP Consultants LLP, an IP boutique firm, providing trademark and other Intellectual Property services in Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia. Intellectual Property (IP) has always been a passion of mine and I have been practising IP law for years, particularly trademark advice and registration. IP is an area of law that I find it very interesting because it deals with innovation and creativity. I am always available to discuss IP issues and concerns with my clients, collaborating with them to develop customised out-of-the-box solutions where required. I also help devise customised IP Strategies for my small businesses who cannot afford to have their very own IP lawyer within the company.
With over 15 years of experience in the IP field, I have advised international and Singapore clients, especially SMEs and start-ups, on a wide range of issues related to trademarks, designs, copyright and domain names in industries such as apparel and accessories, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, toys, sporting goods, wines and spirits, agricultural and dairy products, foods and beverages, electronic and computers, industrial equipment and machinery and personal care, health care, medical devices and services.
My aim is to help as many clients achieve their business goals by leveraging on their intellectual property rights. Over the years, I have worked closely with small companies, start-ups, entrepreneurs and large MNCs, handling close to 1000 matters globally and have a very good network of local agents with whom I have a mutually beneficial fee arrangement so that we do not double charge our clients.
Being in a smaller sized firm, I understand the budgetary constraints that some businesses may have and for this reason, my firm offers trademark and IP services at fixed fees. I also offer free consultation and preliminary advice on IP matters on a courtesy basis. Where my firm differs is that we get to know each of our clients on a deeper level by investing time in learning more about the company, its aspirations, what they want to get out of their IP, and then discuss an appropriate strategy to achieve those goals. Fees
Charges for trademark registration are based on fixed rates. We provide fee quotations prior to undertaking any work. For contentious matters, we offer a range of fixed fees based on hourly rates. All fees are negotiable and discounts are offered on a case by case basis.
