Kirpal Singh, the Managing Partner of the Firm since its inception in 1999, graduated from University of London with LL.B (Hons) in 1993. He was called to the English Bar and was admitted at Lincoln’s Inns (London) in 1994. Kirpal Singh chambered in Barristers Chambers at the Chambers of William Glover QC (Mitre Court, London) where he worked alongside various QCs and senior barristers. Kirpal Singh was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995 as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
He was appointed a Commissioner of Oaths by the Singapore Academy of Law in 2006 and subsequently as a Notary Public. He has now more than two decades of private practice as a civil, intellectual property, corporate and commercial lawyer. He has handled a wide variety of commercial transactions, civil litigation suits establishing various landmark cases establishing a very strong network in many other jurisdictions.
His extensive area of work includes Civil & Disputes, Commercial Agreements, Commercial Disputes, Companies and Businesses, Immigration Matters, Employment, Insurance, Professional Negligence and Property Management.
Kirpal has many years of experience in civil litigation. He is involved in my civil cases including Court of Appeal, High Court cases, arbitration, adjudication under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (“SOP Act”). Kirpal well-versed knowledge in the civil law has enable him to assist his clients to resolve their civil cases in an efficient and cost-effective ways.
Kirpal’s experience in civil litigation has also enable him to have a keen eye for details in terms of reviewing and drafting contracts and/or agreements.
Kirpal has vast experience in dealing with family matters including but not limited to uncontested divorce, contested divorce, variation of court order, maintenance, adoption, annulment and personal protection order. He is sensitive and efficient in handling family related proceedings as he is acutely aware of the difficulties that Clients faced during these periods.
