Experienced counsel to technology companies, entrepreneurs and investors. Mike advises technology and venture capital firms on fundraising, compliance and regulatory issues, company formation and commercial agreements. Mike contributes actively to regulatory and legal updates via PDLegal LLC’s website and on Linkedin.
A champion for start-ups and technology, Mike is listed as a legal adviser under the Payment Regulatory Evaluation Program, an initiative by the Singapore Academy of Law and the Monetary Authority of Singapore for payment service providers. Mike is also listed and mentioned as “a specialist in the fintech space” and “Recommended” on the Legal 500 2020/2021 for financial services regulatory and “Notable Practitioner” on IFLR1000 for mergers and acquisitions in 2019/2020. Prior to joining PDLegal LLC, Mike practised in a leading commercial law firm and regularly advises commercial and corporate matters. Some notable matters include advising a Singapore blockchain technology firm in its cross-border M&A deal and post Series A funding round from a venture capital fund; and advising an Indonesian fintech crowdfunding platform on their Series A founding round of over US$8 million.
Mike is also an active committee member of the Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce and previously, the sub-committee member of Action for Community Entrepreneurship (ACE), an initiative by SPRING Singapore (now known as EnterpriseSG).

In structuring and reviewing M&A transactions our team also advises on the implications of financial and securities regulations, competition law compliance and assists our clients with obtaining the necessary approvals needed for a successful M&A transaction.
Investments Funds
We advise on every stage of a fund’s origination and growth. This ranges from fund formation, fund structuring and compliance of fund regulations. We assist in the establishment and licensing of fund management companies, family offices and offerings of funds-related services. Our venture capital practice focuses on drafting and reviewing term sheets, investment agreements, shareholder agreements etc.
Our team works with established financial intermediaries and service providers to provide an integrated service platform to our clients. We also provide advisory services on the securities and financial regulations applicable to venture capital funds.
