Great advice, professional and direct. Appreciated his help.

Jan,

Given that this was my first time looking for legal advice, I met up with a number of lawyers for consultation given the severity of the issue. With most, the commercial vibes and angling were way too strong to ignore, making me feel that my case was just another ticket and probably “boring” and “insignificant”. However, when I met Baiross, i did not feel that way and he even requested for the presence of another Partner (Azri) given his experience as a DPP. Both man came across as genuinely sincere, hearing me out with no judgement and allowed me to play a part in how best we should proceed with the case.

In every interaction, Baiross did not merely performed his duties as a lawyer but also played a significant role as my mentor/counsellor, encouraging me & always reminding me to keep faith and to hang in there. These simple words of encouragement comforted me and played a huge part towards the resilience i showed despite the seemingly hopeless situation. Intuitively, I think this is quite a rare trait for lawyers to display as they seem to typically zoom in squarely on the legal issue, stripping out much of the emotional aspects of the case. To add, Baiross also came across as tactful & thoughtful, making our exchanges more digestiable and easy to understand. When in doubt, he is also patient and willingly takes time to explain in greater details to me, in laymen terms and with no airs.

Against all odds, the case was successfully resolved and I am certain that this was no fluke. Without Baiross, I would have certainly faced a punishment infinitely more severe and be in a much poorer state of mind. Thank you so much for giving me a second chance in life.

Zacky Chua,

Mr Baiross provided clear guidelines within the law on debt recovery. He made it easy to understand and answered all my queries.
IRB will be my go to law firm on any legal matters.

Zach Soo,

I contacted Mohamed Baiross regarding a dispute with my landlord who refused to repay my deposit at the end of the lease. He was always very quick to reply, and a wealth of knowledge on all things related to tenancy disputes, arbitration and small claims tribunal. He went above and beyond to answer additional follow-up questions, too. His advice proved invaluable in my legal dispute, and gave me peace of mind throughout the process.
