Raphael Louis, or more commonly known as Ray, is a reputable litigator. Over the years, he has garnered a spread-out experience in cases at the State Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. Ray Louis is a criminal lawyer with a wide range of experience, ranging from white-collar crime to road traffic offences. He is a member of the Criminal Practice Committee of the Law Society of Singapore. He also teaches Criminal Procedure to law enforcement officers at Temasek Polytechnic as an Adjunct Lecturer.

Getting the accused spared (as an assistant counsel) from the death penalty (Public Prosecutor v Gopinathan Nair Remadevi Bijukumar, Criminal Case No 40 of 2011) in a murder trial at the High Court and appeal to the Court of Appeal.
