Tyndale is a Family Lawyer at Ann Tan and Associates. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020. He is well aware of the sensitivities of matrimonial litigation and adopts a personalised approach for every client.
Tyndale actively appears before the Family Court and High Court for mediations and hearings pertaining to family law matters such as divorce, Personal Protection Orders, maintenance, division of matrimonial assets and interlocutory applications. Barely 9 months into practice, Tyndale was lead counsel and successfully resisted an application for a downward variation of maintenance for the Children of the marriage in the Family Justice Courts.
Recently, Tyndale has also succeeded in assisting a high net worth individual in reaching a reasonable Settlement Agreement at Private Mediation, helping the individual to save legal costs and avoid the emotional turmoil associated with matrimonial litigation. He has also successfully assisted in resisting two Personal Protections Orders and a Domestic Exclusion Order at a full day Personal Protection Order trial.
Tyndale also has extensive experience in dealing with children and teenagers as he has been teaching piano for the last seven years as a former concert pianist and is fully cognisant of the unique emotions and challenges faced by children during a divorce.
For non-contentious work, Tyndale has an increasingly active conveyancing practice and has experience in the sale and transfer of properties. Tyndale also has experience in non-contentious Corporate Advisory work and has reviewed commercial agreements and loan documents for both multinational corporations and individuals
