Writing a Will (Muslim Will) is not as straight forward as i thought it would have been. We have to look at Administration of Muslim Law Act very carefully and find out what we can or cannot do to ensure that our Will is valid. I engaged Mr Rajan’s services for a very delicate matter – renunciation of a religious faith. It was 1 July 2022 Friday, 2.00pm and many law firms would be closed by 5pm and weekends too. The person who needed to renounce his religion had only days to live. After several calls, many rejections and ‘we’ll call you back later’, my frantic hunt for legal help brought me to Mr Rajan.
